I’ve felt drawn to the power and beauty of stones since I was a child collecting them on the side of the road. They are like little works for art and they resonate with energy from deep inside the earth. I thought I’d share a few of my favourite specimens.

Azurite forms on copper deposits and over time it absorbs water and changes into Malachite. They are usually found together and are often referred to as ‘earth stone’ because of their resemblance to land and sea. Because of its ability to change from one mineral to another azurite processes a transformative quality. It can stimulate an increase in communication skills, intuition, creativity and inspiration.

The Easiest Way to Learn Tarot—EVER…Really?

I have been reading tarot cards for over 20 years.  I am the kind of person that studies the books and then does the work with the tool.  Tarot, for me, is a tool that allows me to access other parts of my psychic abilities.  It is a jumping off point.  So, needless to say I have read many books.  In the last years I have become more selective in what I read.  Then I saw a strange titled book and one that usually I would have passed up.  I saw it on the internet and decided to try it out.  The book was The Easiest Way to Learn Tarot—EVER by Dusty White.  I wondered what this book could hold for me as it claimed to be the easiest way to learn tarot—EVER.  “Ever” is a long time.  I got the book through the mail…off Amazon and started casually reading.

Dream Catchers started out in the Ojibwa tribes of Canada and the Great Lakes Region of the United States. As the tribes spread, the idea of the Dream Catcher passed around to other tribes and has become sort of a symbol of unity.
